Position: Part-Time Lifeguard
MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Pandharpur, invites applications from qualified, responsible, and physically fit candidates for the position of Part-Time Lifeguard.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of students and staff using the swimming pool facilities.
- Monitor swimming pool activities and enforce all safety rules and regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and perform rescue operations when required.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance in case of emergencies.
- Conduct routine checks of pool equipment and report any safety concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards around the pool area.
- Assist swimming instructors and school authorities during swimming sessions and events.
- Maintain records of pool usage, incidents, and safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all school safety policies and procedures.
Qualification:
- Minimum HSC (12th Pass) or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized institution.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Lifeguard in schools, swimming academies, sports complexes, or related institutions.
Skills Required:
- Excellent swimming and water rescue skills.
- Strong knowledge of pool safety standards and emergency procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly during emergencies.
- Good physical fitness and stamina.
