Key Responsibilities1. Overall Site Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the hatchery site.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all departments within the hatchery.
- Maintain site discipline, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate activities between production, maintenance, stores, security, and administration.
2. Labour Management
- Supervise all permanent, contractual, and daily wage labour.
- Plan manpower deployment according to operational requirements.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, discipline, and shift schedules.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Resolve labour-related issues in coordination with the HR department.
3. Site Maintenance
- Ensure proper maintenance of hatchery buildings, roads, drainage, boundary walls, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, water supply, and other utilities.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of power, water, and essential services.
- Monitor contractors carrying out civil, electrical, and maintenance work.
4. Biosecurity, Safety & Housekeeping
- Ensure strict implementation of hatchery biosecurity protocols.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the site.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and fire safety requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address safety risks.
5. Asset & Infrastructure Management
- Maintain hatchery assets in good working condition.
- Monitor repairs, renovations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Ensure proper utilization and security of company property and equipment.
6. Administration & Security
- Supervise housekeeping, gardening, transport, security, and other support services.
- Ensure proper visitor management and site access control.
- Coordinate with local authorities and service providers whenever required.
7. Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor consumption of maintenance materials, spare parts, fuel, and utilities.
- Control operational expenses within the approved budget.
- Verify contractor work and material utilization.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records related to maintenance, labour, contractors, utilities, and statutory compliance.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on site operations.
- Track maintenance activities, downtime, utility consumption, and labour productivity.
9. Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate maintenance staff, supervisors, and support teams.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and ensure effective communication.
10. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement preventive maintenance and process improvement initiatives.
- Support expansion, renovation, and modernization projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Poultry Science, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in hatchery, poultry, manufacturing, or industrial site operations.
- Experience in managing labour, maintenance, and site administration is essential.

Working Conditions
- Based at the Hisar Hatchery site.
- Frequent movement across production and utility areas.
- May require working beyond normal hours during emergencies, maintenance shutdowns, or peak production periods.
Authority
- Allocate and supervise site manpower.
- Approve routine maintenance work and contractor activities within delegated authority.
- Coordinate emergency repairs and site operational decisions.
- Recommend infrastructure improvements, capital expenditure, and resource requirements to management.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
