Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during angiography procedures to diagnose cardiovascular conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data, test results, and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Prepare patients for catheterizations by explaining procedures, positioning them on the table, and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure smooth operation of the Cath Lab department.
- Strong knowledge of angiography techniques, uterine artery procedures, and other diagnostic tests performed in a Cath Lab setting.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during emergency situations while maintaining attention to detail.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 0-5 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician or related field (cardiac technician).
- Diploma or B.Sc degree in relevant specialization (e.g., Cardiac Technology).
