- Job Summary & Key Objectives
Lead warehouse operations to ensure an efficient, safe, and cost-effective flow of materials, components, and finished goods in and out of the facility. Maintain high inventory accuracy, ensure timely dispatches, and minimize costs and delays.
- Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. Ensure efficient space utilization and inventory accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse.
- FIFO handling: Responsible for maintaining FIFO through standard process across warehouse. To train manpower to follow the same. Responsible for writing process for any changes/deviations.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment. Responsible to conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits, ensure final target from leadership team is achieved in related to accountability. Drive team to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with proper conclusions and CAPA.
- Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance. Provide training and guidance to improve team productivity and compliance. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Conduct safety drills and enforce proper handling of materials and equipment. Maintain records for audits and inspections.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency. Use KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance. Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and staff activities. Present insights and recommendations to management.
- Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in warehouse management, inventory control, or logistics (e.g., Lean, SAP, WMS) are preferred.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or team leader role managing warehouse staff and logistics activities.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, any other inventory management software, and transport coordination.
- Proven track record in process improvement, team management, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
