Physical Educator

Job Summary:
Vidyashilp Academy is looking for an energetic and dedicated Physical Education Educator to promote fitness, sportsmanship, and overall well-being among students. The role involves delivering a structured PE curriculum aligned with ICSE and ISE standards while encouraging active participation in sports and physical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fitness routines, sports drills, and activity-based learning sessions
- Organize sports events, inter-house competitions, and annual sports day
- Identify and nurture student talent for inter-school and competitive sports events
- Ensure safety standards and proper handling of sports equipment
- Monitor and assess students’ physical development and participation
- Promote discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students
- Maintain records of attendance, performance, and activity reports
- Collaborate with staff for holistic student development
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) preferred
- Candidates with expertise in Table Tennis (TT) and Skating will be preferred.
· Experience in teaching students of ICSE/ISC/IGCSE curriculum is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using computers for documentation, reporting, and educational applications
- Ability to engage and motivate students across age groups
- Good organizational and event management skills
- Knowledge of fitness training, sports rules, and safety practices
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
