Job Description
Testalogix Solutions Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and experienced Hardware Repair Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and maintaining electronic hardware and components. The candidate should have strong knowledge of electronic circuits, PCB assemblies, component-level troubleshooting, and electronic test equipment.
The Hardware Repair Engineer will work closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, suppliers, and support teams to identify hardware failures, perform root cause analysis, improve product reliability, and ensure that repaired products meet the required quality and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty electronic hardware, PCB assemblies, and equipment.
- Perform component-level troubleshooting using schematics, circuit diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
- Identify defective components and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions for recurring hardware failures.
- Perform functional testing after repair to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct environmental and reliability testing as required.
- Maintain accurate repair records, failure reports, and technical documentation.
- Analyze recurring failure trends and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, ESD, and industry standards.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), hardware validation, and repair process development.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve hardware defects.
- Manage repair tools, test equipment, calibration requirements, and spare parts inventory.
- Provide technical support to field service and customer support teams when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in: ECE,EEE
- 2–8 years of experience in hardware repair, electronics troubleshooting, component-level diagnostics, or manufacturing support.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or product repair environments.
- Knowledge of NPI and product validation processes.
- Experience with failure analysis and reliability testing.
- Familiarity with calibration and maintenance of electronic test equipment.
- Experience working with manufacturing and quality engineering teams.
