We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead our sales operations in the Jammu & Kashmir region. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and managing a team of sales professionals and a robust distribution network within the assigned territory. This role requires a strong understanding of local market dynamics, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Jammu & Kashmir region.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives and representatives, ensuring their continuous development and high performance.
- Identify and onboard new distributors and retailers, strengthening the company's presence and reach across the territory.
- Manage existing distributor relationships, ensuring optimal stock levels, timely payments, and effective market penetration.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, identify new business opportunities, and gather market intelligence.
- Analyze sales data, prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, and present findings to senior management.
- Oversee the execution of marketing and promotional activities in the territory to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Ensure efficient supply chain management and product availability across all sales points.
- Handle customer grievances and feedback effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Forecast sales volumes and plan inventory requirements in coordination with the supply chain team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales operations.
