Demi Chef de Partie
A Demi Chef de Partie is a mid-level culinary professional responsible for supporting the Chef de Partie in managing a specific kitchen section. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, supervising junior staff, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Chef de Partie in daily operations of the assigned kitchen section (e.g., pantry, grill, bakery)
Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
Supervise and guide Commis chefs and kitchen helpers
Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and plating techniques
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
Support in training junior kitchen staff
Handle basic cooking tasks independently during service
Report equipment issues or kitchen concerns to senior chefs
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
