1. Supply Chain Planning
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Forecast demand and prepare supply plans to ensure product availability.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
2. Logistics and Distribution
- Manage inbound and outbound transportation.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouse teams.
- Optimize transportation routes and logistics costs.
- Ensure timely delivery to customers.
3. Dispatch Operations
- Oversee warehouse receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
4. Supplier and Vendor Management
- Develop long-term relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier KPIs, including quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Identify alternative suppliers to reduce supply risks.
5. Cost Optimization
- Identify opportunities to reduce procurement, transportation, and inventory costs.
- Improve supply chain efficiency through process improvements.
- Monitor and control departmental budgets.
6. Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Develop contingency plans for supplier disruptions, transportation delays, and inventory shortages.
- Ensure business continuity through effective risk planning.
7. Compliance and Quality
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Support quality assurance initiatives throughout the supply chain.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
8. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze supply chain performance using KPIs and dashboards.
- Prepare reports on inventory, logistics, procurement, and supplier performance.
- Recommend improvements based on operational data.
9. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor supply chain, logistics, and warehouse teams.
- Set performance objectives and conduct regular reviews.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in or post graduation in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, cargo and dispatch, or operations management.
- Experience with ERP systems.
