We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Consultant Pediatrician to join our hospital on an On-Call basis. The candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, attending emergency cases, and supporting inpatient and outpatient pediatric services whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Pediatric OPD consultations.
- Attend pediatric emergency and inpatient cases on call.
- Manage newborn care, neonatal emergencies, and routine pediatric illnesses.
- Perform newborn assessment and provide post-delivery care.
- Coordinate with Obstetrics, NICU, ICU, and Nursing teams.
- Counsel parents regarding diagnosis, treatment, vaccination, nutrition, and child development.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB/DCH in Pediatrics.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience preferred.
- Fresh consultants with good clinical knowledge may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong clinical and emergency management skills.
- Excellent communication and patient counselling abilities.
- Ability to respond promptly to on-call emergencies.
- Team-oriented approach and commitment to quality patient care.
Compensation
- On-call remuneration: Negotiable.
- Emergency visit and procedure charges as per hospital policy.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates residing in or near Varanasi will be preferred.
- Immediate joining will be an added advantage.
Pay: From ₹55,458.42 per month
