Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our PEB manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, installing, and maintaining structural steel components and fabricated parts as per engineering drawings and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in fabrication, structural assembly, and the use of various hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
- Measure, cut, drill, grind, and align metal components accurately.
- Ensure proper fitting and dimensional accuracy of fabricated components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the installation and erection of steel structures when required.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs of machinery and equipment.
- Identify defects or deviations and report them to the supervisor.
- Follow company safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping practices.
- Coordinate with welders, machine operators, and production teams to achieve production targets.
