Job Description – Assistant Manager – Key Account Management (KAM)
Location: Colaba, Mumbai

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Key Account Management (KAM) to manage and grow relationships with enterprise clients. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Key Account Management, with a proven track record of managing strategic accounts, driving client engagement, ensuring customer success, and identifying business growth opportunities.
This role requires someone who can build long-term client relationships, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey Account Management
- Own and manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Build strong relationships with CXOs, business heads, and decision-makers.
- Conduct regular business reviews to understand client objectives and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Ensure long-term account retention through proactive engagement.
Client Success & Relationship Management
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor account health and resolve client concerns within defined timelines.
- Drive adoption of products, services, and new initiatives among existing clients.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Revenue Growth
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.
- Collaborate with sales and internal teams to maximize revenue from existing clients.
- Support commercial discussions, renewals, and contract negotiations.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a bridge between clients and internal departments including Operations, Product, and Leadership.
- Ensure timely communication regarding project updates, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Escalate and resolve critical issues while maintaining strong client relationships.
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of client deliverables.
- Monitor workflows and improve operational efficiency wherever required.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, account updates, and action items using CRM tools.
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Provide clients with relevant insights and strategic recommendations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4–5 years of experience exclusively in Key Account Management or Enterprise Account Management.
- Experience handling enterprise or B2B clients is mandatory.
- Strong experience managing strategic client relationships and driving account growth.
- Proven ability to engage with CXOs and senior business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar tools.
- Comfortable traveling within India for client meetings when required.
- Highly proactive, customer-focused, and result-oriented.
