- Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud computing concepts (compute, storage, networking, identity)
- Interest in and foundational knowledge of AI capabilities, including:
o Microsoft Copilot Studio — building topics, actions, and generative answers
o Large Language Model (LLM) and generative-AI concepts, including prompt engineering
o Grounding agents with knowledge sources and enterprise data
- Basic understanding of SQL and working with relational data
- Familiarity with source control (Git) and collaborative development
o Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
o Azure AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, or Azure Cognitive Services
o Microsoft 365 Copilot and its extensibility model
o Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep/ARM/Terraform)
- Academic or personal projects involving:
o Chatbots, virtual agents, or conversational AI
o Cloud-hosted web apps or APIs
o Automation or integration workflows
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AI-900, PL-900)
