*2. Key Duties to Add*
- Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate during labour and delivery
- Assist obstetricians in normal deliveries, LSCS, and emergency procedures
- Provide immediate newborn care including APGAR scoring, warmth, and initiation of breastfeeding within 1 hour
- Administer medications and IV fluids as per doctor’s orders with accurate documentation
- Educate mothers on postnatal care, newborn hygiene, immunization schedule, and family planning
- Maintain strict asepsis in labour room and operation theatre
- Handle patient admission, discharge, and case sheet documentation per hospital policy
