U.S. Auto Shipping Specialist / Brokerage

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable U.S. Auto Shipping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be comfortable working with customers and transport carriers, and understand the U.S. auto transportation process.
You will be responsible for coordinating vehicle shipments, communicating with customers and drivers, negotiating transportation rates, and ensuring vehicles are picked up and delivered smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate vehicle transportation across the United States.
- Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, carriers, and brokers.
- Find and assign reliable auto transport carriers for available shipments.
- Negotiate carrier rates while maintaining company margins.
- Follow up with customers and carriers throughout the shipping process.
- Track vehicle pickups and deliveries and provide timely updates.
- Maintain accurate shipment information and documentation.
- Resolve scheduling, communication, and transportation issues quickly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and transport carriers.
- Meet daily and monthly performance and sales targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in U.S. auto shipping, auto transport, freight, logistics, or dispatching is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and customer-service abilities.
- Comfortable making calls and communicating with U.S.-based customers and carriers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM/logistics platforms.
- Ability to work U.S. business hours or an agreed U.S.-time-zone schedule.
Preferred Experience
Experience with platforms and tools used in the U.S. auto transport industry, such as Central Dispatch, CRM systems, load boards, or carrier databases, is a strong advantage.
