Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Rolling Mill & Induction Furnace Supervisor with 2–3 years of relevant experience in the steel manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for supervising induction furnace operations, rolling mill production, manpower management, quality control, safety compliance, and achieving daily production targets.
Work Location: Karaikal, Puducherry.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the Induction Furnace and Rolling Mill.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Monitor furnace melting operations, temperature, and raw material charging.
- Supervise rolling mill activities to maintain quality and productivity.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and operational logs.
- Ensure safe working practices and adherence to safety regulations.
- Manage shop floor manpower and allocate work effectively.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.
Required Skills

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Candidates with relevant experience in steel manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Rolling Mill and Induction Furnace operations.
