Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to design and develop high-quality embedded hardware systems. The candidate will be responsible for schematic design, PCB layout, testing, and validation while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PCB layouts for embedded hardware products from concept to production
- Create and review schematics, multilayer PCB layouts, and BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Perform PCB bring-up, debugging, functional testing, and validation
- Develop and execute board-level test plans, test cases, and validation procedures
- Ensure design compliance with EMI/EMC standards and environmental requirements
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for design inputs and production support
- Conduct design reviews, root cause analysis, and bug tracking
- Prepare technical documentation such as design specifications, test plans, and reports
- Optimize designs for performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability
- Mentor and guide junior engineers when required
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in PCB design and embedded hardware development
- Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, power electronics, and signal integrity
- Familiarity with PCB fabrication and assembly processes
- Experience with testing tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers
- Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance and industry standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Industrial Automation domain
- Knowledge of simulation tools like SPICE or MATLAB/Simulink
- Exposure to high-speed PCB design and multilayer boards
