Testing and Validation
- Execute firmware test cases and document observations.
- Support design verification and validation activities for embedded functions.
- Assist in troubleshooting failures seen during development, pilot build, or production stages.
- Participate in product reliability testing and issue tracking.
Documentation
- Prepare and maintain basic technical documentation such as:
- Firmware notes
- Interface descriptions
- Debug logs
- Test reports
- Version history
- Ensure proper documentation of code changes and firmware releases.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with hardware, software, QA, and production teams during development and testing.
- Support implementation of engineering feedback from field, testing, or manufacturing teams.
- Participate in design discussions and review meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of embedded C/C++ programming.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded development environments.
- Understanding of digital electronics, basic analog electronics, and circuit interfacing.
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and exposure to BLE and Wi-Fi platforms.
- Good problem-solving ability and willingness to work in a hands-on development environment.
Preferred Skills
- Internship, academic project, or project-based experience in embedded systems or electronics development.
- Familiarity with tools such as Keil, STM32CubeIDE, Arduino IDE, PlatformIO, MPLAB, or equivalent.
- Basic exposure to BLE module integration, Wi-Fi-based device communication, and embedded connectivity debugging.
- Basic exposure to PCB-level debugging and hardware validation.
- Understanding of firmware version control practices.
- Interest in medical devices, biomedical instrumentation, or healthcare technology.
What We Offer
- Opportunity to work on real medical-device products with strong practical learning exposure.
- Hands-on experience in embedded systems, electronics, wireless communication, and regulated product development.
- A collaborative engineering environment with mentorship from experienced team members.
- Structured growth opportunities in firmware and hardware product development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is curious, disciplined, and eager to learn. They should be comfortable working closely with hardware and firmware, following engineering processes, and taking ownership of assigned technical tasks. A strong willingness to learn and contribute is more important than extensive prior experience for this role.
