Key Responsibilities
- Plan and ensure timely availability of packaging materials to support uninterrupted production.
- Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of packaging materials.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records through regular reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage practices and adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Planning teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Verify that all packaging materials meet approved specifications and quality standards before use.
- Ensure packaging materials, labels, and printed artwork comply with regulatory requirements and approved specifications.
- Ensure compliance with the Legal Metrology Act and Packaged Commodities Rules, including mandatory declarations such as MRP, net quantity, manufacturing/packing date, customer care details, and other statutory labeling requirements.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams to implement changes in labeling and packaging as per legal and regulatory updates.
- Monitor packaging material consumption and implement measures to minimize wastage and improve cost efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory, material movements, compliance records, and audit requirements.
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by ensuring complete documentation and compliance.
- Supervise, train, and guide store and packaging material personnel on SOPs, GMP, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, 5S, EHS, and company quality standards in the packaging material store.
- Monitor supplier performance and coordinate with vendors to resolve quality and delivery issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and compliance.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
