Job Responsibilities:-
· Procure raw materials, bought-out components and consumables required for the manufacturing of cooling towers and project execution.
· Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery. You will be required to travel once every quarter across Indiato identify and source new vendors/suppliers.
· Obtain quotations, conduct techno-commercial comparisons, negotiate prices, and finalize procurement contracts.
· Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved purchase requisitions and monitor order execution.
· Coordinate with Production, Design, Projects, Stores and other teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
· Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and expedite critical orders to avoid production delays.
· Procure project-related equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, piping, electrical items, FRP components, PVC fills, gearboxes, fans and instrumentation.
· Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Stores to maintain optimum stock while minimizing excess inventory.
· Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and service, and initiate corrective actions where required.
· Identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing, vendor development, and value engineering initiatives.
· Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, contractual terms, and statutory requirements.
· Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, purchase documentation and ERP/SAP transactions.
· Coordinate with Logistics and Finance teams for material dispatch, invoice verification and timely vendor payments.
· Prepare periodic MIS reports on procurement status, pending purchase orders, vendor performance, inventory and cost-saving initiatives.
· Support management in achieving procurement objectives, improving supply chain efficiency, and ensuring timely completion of manufacturing and project schedules.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
