Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Sales Manager – Projects with 4–5 years of experience in project sales. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in selling project-based solutions or industrial products, managing the complete sales cycle, developing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in project sales.
- Generate leads and convert them into successful business opportunities.
- Meet clients, consultants, architects, builders, contractors, and EPC companies to promote company products and solutions.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
- Handle the complete sales cycle from enquiry generation to project closure.
- Negotiate commercial terms and finalize contracts with customers.
- Coordinate with the estimation, design, procurement, and execution teams for smooth project delivery.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review.
Required Skills
- Strong Project Sales and Business Development skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle B2B sales and large-value project orders.
- Good knowledge of tendering, commercial negotiations, and project documentation.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) or any Graduate with relevant project sales experience.
- MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 4–5 years of experience in Project Sales.
- Experience in selling industrial products, MEP, Fire Protection Systems, Electrical, ELV, HVAC, Construction Materials, Building Solutions, or any project-based products/solutions is preferred.
