Role Description
IRONCLAD Law Associates is looking to hire Senior Associates – Litigation with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in Consumer Matters, to join our Litigation Team at our Gurugram office.
Candidates having experience before the District Consumer Commissions, State Consumer Commissions, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), Civil Courts, Commercial Courts, and other judicial forums will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, written statements, consumer complaints, appeals, revisions, legal notices, applications, written submissions, and legal opinions.
- Independently handle litigation matters before Consumer Commissions and other judicial forums.
- Conduct legal research and formulate effective litigation strategies.
- Appear before District Courts, Consumer Commissions, Tribunals, and other judicial and quasi-judicial authorities.
- Assist Partners and Senior Counsel in complex litigation matters.
- Coordinate with clients regarding case strategy, documentation, and updates.
- Review case records, evidence, and legal documents.
- Supervise interns, junior associates, and paralegal staff whenever required.
- Contribute to legal articles, knowledge resources, and client advisories.
Qualifications & Experience
- LL.B. from a recognized university (LL.M. will be an added advantage).
- 1–3 years of post-qualification litigation experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Consumer Matters.
- Strong drafting and legal research skills.
- Excellent command over English (written and spoken).
- Working knowledge of legal research platforms such as SCC Online, Manupatra, AIR, etc.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently manage litigation files and court appearances.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Consumer Litigation.
- Exposure to Civil and Commercial Litigation.
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Client handling and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of procedural laws and court practice.
