01The actual work
What will you actually do as a Editor at CryptoMize?
01
Coordinate the publishing cycle — online and print — and manage the content areas your engagements depend on
02
Set publication standards and establish the goals and expectations each piece of copy is held to
03
Suggest stories and generate headline ideas aligned with the target audience’s preferences, not the loudest internal opinion
04
Oversee layout — artwork, design, photography — and check content for accuracy and errors before anything ships
05
Proofread, edit and improve stories and pieces until the copy reads like the agency’s reputation depends on it, because it does
06
Recruit and manage writers and reporters attached to your engagements, and develop the ones worth keeping
07
Cooperate and liaise with designers, photographers, advertising representatives and writers — this desk is the hub the work routes through
08
Comply with media law and ethical guidelines in every piece you clear — the standard is not negotiable anywhere in this house
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Editor at CryptoMize you will coordinate the online and print publishing cycle, manage content areas, and proofread, edit and improve every piece your engagements ship. You set the publication standards, establish goals and expectations, and hold both when deadline pressure argues otherwise — the standard is the job.
Accuracy is a standing duty: most organizations discover desk error when a published claim is challenged publicly, but here it gets intercepted upstream — in the fact check, the legal-ethics review and the final read. You will maintain the revision record so any published piece can be traced through its changes, on demand, in front of a client.
The desk also carries institutional responsibility for the bench: recruiting and managing writers and reporters, developing the strong ones, and teaching the editing craft to the intern pipeline. The people whose writers keep getting better, issue after issue, are the ones promoted first.
