General Manager – Club Operations

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the overall operations of a premium fitness club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring exceptional member experience, and delivering strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Sales, Fitness, Front Office, and Operations teams.
- Drive club revenue through memberships, renewals, and personal training sales.
- Own the club's Profit & Loss (P&L) and ensure profitability.
- Monitor business performance, prepare forecasts, and control operational expenses.
- Ensure outstanding member experience from inquiry through retention.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility presentation.
- Handle member escalations and ensure prompt issue resolution.
- Recruit, coach, and develop team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.
- Collaborate with corporate teams on marketing initiatives and business growth strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and brand standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of management experience in Fitness, Hospitality, or Retail Operations.
- Experience managing multiple departments within a business.
- Proven experience handling P&L and revenue targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong operational knowledge.
- Ability to analyze business performance and make data-driven decisions.
Preferred Background
Candidates from premium gyms, fitness chains, health clubs, hospitality, or organized retail with full operational ownership will be given preference.
