We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support the daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, and dispatching inventory while ensuring stock accuracy and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Warehouse assistants commonly support receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming stock.
- Organize products in designated storage locations.
- Pick and pack items accurately for showroom transfers and customer orders.
- Prepare dispatches and ensure timely loading of goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory transactions.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist in inventory audits.
- Report damaged, missing, or excess inventory to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Ensure products are stored safely to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Follow company SOPs, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Support inter-branch stock transfers and warehouse documentation.
- Assist in barcode scanning, labeling, and stock identification.
- Perform any additional warehouse-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and inventory systems preferred).
- Ability to lift and move inventory safely.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in footwear, fashion, apparel, bags, or retail warehousing is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift products throughout the workday.
- Capable of handling cartons and warehouse materials safely.
