About the Role
Rarefiction Media is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager who can actively drive business growth by identifying potential clients, generating high-value leads, and converting them into long-term customers. This role is focused on revenue generation, client acquisition, and building strong business relationships that help scale the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and acquire new B2B clients for company growth.
- Generate qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, direct outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting.
- Build relationships with founders, CEOs, marketing heads, and key decision-makers.
- Pitch company services and create customized business proposals for potential clients.
- Lead the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
- Close high-value deals independently and achieve aggressive revenue targets.
- Develop strategic partnerships and long-term client relationships.
- Expand business opportunities across startups, SMEs, enterprises, and growing brands.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, retainers, and long-term partnerships.
- Maintain and manage a strong sales pipeline and business forecasting.
- Work closely with internal teams for smooth client onboarding and project execution.
- Represent the company at networking events and business meetings.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in B2B Sales / Business Development.
- Proven track record of bringing new customers and closing business deals.
- Strong experience in lead generation and client acquisition.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently drive revenue growth and achieve targets.
- Strong understanding of consultative sales and relationship management.
- Prior experience in agency sales, SaaS sales, marketing sales, or service-based sales preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot CRM or Salesforce is an advantage.
