About the Role:
We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Fitter with strong expertise in Press Shop operations. The role involves ensuring smooth functioning of all press machines with minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of Power Presses, Hydraulic Presses 50T-500T.
- Die fitting, die setting, die trial, and minor die repairs.
- Troubleshooting of clutch, brake, flywheel, bearing, and lubrication systems.
- Installation, alignment, and leveling of press machines and conveyors.
- Reading mechanical drawings and performing fitting, grinding, and fabrication.
- Maintain TPM, 5S, and safety standards in press shop.
- Maintain breakdown reports, spare consumption, and maintenance log.
- Support production team to achieve zero breakdown targets.
Requirements:
ITI Fitter with 3+ years press shop maintenance experience
Strong knowledge of Mechanical & Hydraulic Press maintenance
Experience in die fitting and press tooling is must
Basic welding and gas cutting knowledge preferred
Ability to work independently and handle urgent breakdowns
Must be willing to work in shifts
