dotMKV Media is looking for a creative and highly disciplined Senior Video Editor to lead the post-production efforts for our digital content. This is a fully remote position for an editor who excels in fast-paced environments and understands the nuances of high-engagement social media and reaction-style content. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, viral-ready videos while maintaining a consistent visual identity across all projects.
- Monthly Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 (Based on experience).
Key Responsibilities
- Expert Level Editing: Lead the editing process for long-form with a specific focus on pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Workflow Optimization: Utilize and refine existing editing blueprints and presets to ensure a high-speed, high-quality output.
- Quality Oversight: Review and provide constructive feedback on edits from freelancers and junior staff to ensure all content meets brand standards.
- Asset Management: Manage remote project files, ensuring organized folder structures and secure backups of all raw and rendered media.
- Project Leadership: Coordinate with the creative team to meet tight deadlines without compromising on technical or creative quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in video editing, specifically for YouTube creators or digital media agencies.
- Technical Tools: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Niche Knowledge: Proven experience in editing "reaction" and commentary-style videos, including a solid grasp of pacing and comedic timing.
- Self-Management: As this is a remote role, you must be highly organized, communicative, and able to work independently to meet daily targets.
- Attention to Detail: A "perfectionist" eye for color correction, audio leveling, and subtitle accuracy.
