To supervise and control weaving operations to ensure production of fabric as per specified quality standards, production targets, and process parameters while minimizing defects, wastage, and downtime.
Key Responsibilities1. Production Supervision
- Plan and allocate looms according to production schedule and order requirements.
- Ensure correct beam loading, style setting, and machine settings before start of production.
- Monitor loom efficiency, stoppages, and production output during the shift.
- Achieve daily production targets with optimum machine utilization.
- Coordinate with warping and next processes to maintain continuous production flow.
2. Quality Control
- Ensure fabric is produced according to approved specifications (width, construction, pick per inch, reed per inch, etc.).
- Monitor fabric during running to detect defects such as:
- Broken ends
- Missing picks
- Oil stains
- Uneven selvedge
- Stop production in case of major non-conformity and inform QA.
- Ensure in-process inspection records are maintained properly.
3. Machine & Process Control
- Verify correct air pressure / machine parameters during machine setting.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and cleaning of looms.
- Inform maintenance team immediately in case of mechanical or electrical issues.
- Reduce machine downtime and recurring faults.
4. Manpower Management
- Allocate operators and helpers based on workload.
- Train workers on correct operating practices and defect prevention.
- Ensure discipline and safe working practices on the shop floor.
- Maintain shift handover communication between supervisors.
5. Documentation & Records
- Maintain weaving production log notes.
- Record production, rejection, and machine stoppage details.
- Ensure traceability of beams and rolls as per system requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality Department for inspection and release.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–7 years experience in loom operations (preferably airjet looms).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
