We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Project Manager – MERN Stack to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of web application projects built using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js). The ideal candidate should have experience managing software development teams, Agile projects, client communication, and project delivery while ensuring quality and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver MERN Stack development projects from initiation to deployment.
- Coordinate with MERN Stack Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Track project progress and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Monitor project risks, identify bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Manage change requests and prioritize project tasks effectively.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and best development practices.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates using project management tools.
- Collaborate with technical leads to resolve technical challenges and support decision-making.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js).
- Experience managing web application and software development projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Project Management, with experience handling MERN Stack or full-stack web development projects.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of REST APIs, Git/GitHub, cloud platforms, and deployment processes.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps teams.
- Ability to understand technical discussions and effectively communicate between clients and development teams.
- Experience managing SaaS, enterprise, or web-based application projects.
