Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Two-Wheeler Inspection Specialist to inspect and evaluate two-wheelers for safety, quality, and performance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vehicle inspection, strong mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and digital inspection platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of two-wheelers to ensure they meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Identify mechanical, structural, and cosmetic issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Use diagnostic tools and digital inspection software to record findings and generate inspection reports.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and vehicle history using automated systems.
- Calibrate and configure inspection equipment to ensure accurate diagnostics.
- Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to improve inspection quality and vehicle reliability.
- Ensure compliance with inspection standards, company guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest vehicle inspection techniques, diagnostic technologies, and industry best practices.
- Support and train team members on inspection procedures and the use of diagnostic tools when required.
- Travel to assigned locations for vehicle inspections as part of regular field operations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of two-wheeler mechanics, including engines, brake systems, suspension, transmission, and drivetrain components.
- Experience in vehicle quality inspection and fault diagnosis.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic software and inspection tools.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Mandatory Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in two-wheeler or automotive inspection.
- Valid MCWG (Motorcycle With Gear) driving licence.
- Own two-wheeler for field travel.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned city.
- Comfortable working in a field-based role.
