Job Description
The Loading, Unloading & Packing Labour is responsible for handling, packing, loading, unloading, and safely moving materials, spare parts, batteries, and finished electric vehicles (EVs). The role ensures proper packaging, safe handling, and timely dispatch while maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload finished vehicles, batteries, spare parts, and other materials safely and efficiently.
Pack products using approved packing materials and methods to prevent damage during transportation.
Assist in preparing products for dispatch according to company guidelines and delivery schedules.
Handle materials carefully to avoid damage during loading, unloading, and internal movement.
Verify the quantity and condition of materials before loading and after unloading, and report any shortages or damages immediately.
Support warehouse and store operations, including stacking, arranging, and organizing inventory.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the warehouse, dispatch area, and workstations.
Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate lifting techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Coordinate with the warehouse, stores, logistics, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth material movement.
Perform any additional loading, unloading, packing, or warehouse-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Minimum 8th Pass / 10th Pass (preferred).
Prior experience in loading, unloading, packing, warehouse, or logistics operations is an advantage.
Freshers may also apply.
Required Skills
Physically fit and able to lift and move materials safely.
Basic understanding of warehouse and packing procedures.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
Willingness to work overtime or shifts when required.
