Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester with 2–2.5 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of QA processes, hands-on experience with manual testing, and the ability to identify, document, and track software defects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
- Re-test resolved defects and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Maintain clear and accurate test documentation and reports.
- Ensure software quality and deliver a reliable product within project timelines.
Required Skills
- 2–2.5 years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Good understanding of test case design and defect life cycle.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing.
- Experience with bug tracking/test management tools such as Jira, Trello, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing and API testing will be an advantage.
