About the Role
PS Collaborations is looking for a skilled and dedicated Echo Technician to support cardiac diagnostic services. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiography procedures, capturing high-quality cardiac images, assisting cardiologists, and ensuring accurate and efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 2D Echocardiography, M-Mode, Doppler, and Color Flow studies as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform both normal and abnormal echocardiograms.
- Capture accurate, high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly.
- Assist cardiologists during cardiac diagnostic evaluations.
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment effectively.
- Ensure proper functioning and basic calibration of echo equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
- Follow all patient safety, hygiene, and imaging quality standards.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff for smooth diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain professionalism and ensure a comfortable experience for patients.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of echocardiography procedures and cardiac anatomy.
- Ability to perform 2D Echo and Doppler studies accurately.
- Good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively with cardiologists and clinical teams.
- Basic knowledge of maintaining and operating echo equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Eligibility
- Diploma/Degree in Cardiac Technology, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field.
- Experienced candidates can apply.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in 2D Echo and Doppler will be preferred.
