Job Title: Part-Time Consultant Pathologist

Job Summary:
The Part-Time Consultant Pathologist is responsible for supervising laboratory diagnostic services, reviewing and reporting laboratory investigations, ensuring quality standards, and providing expert consultation to clinicians for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review, verify, and authorize pathology and laboratory reports.
* Interpret hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, clinical pathology, and histopathology/cytology reports (as applicable).
* Provide diagnostic consultation to treating physicians.
* Supervise laboratory operations and ensure quality control procedures are followed.
* Ensure compliance with NABH, NABL, and other applicable regulatory standards.
* Monitor laboratory quality assurance and participate in audits.
* Guide and train laboratory technicians and staff when required.
* Assist in implementing laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of patient records.
* Be available for consultation during scheduled hospital hours and for urgent cases, as agreed.
Required Qualifications:
* MD/DNB in Pathology recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
* Valid State Medical Council registration.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory (preferred).
* Sound knowledge of laboratory quality standards and diagnostic practices.
* Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with NABH/NABL accreditation requirements.
* Experience in laboratory quality management.
* Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and laboratory staff.
* Good documentation and decision-making skills.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
