Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities in the assigned unit.
* Ensure high standards of patient care and nursing practices.
* Allocate duties and prepare duty rosters for nursing staff.
* Monitor patient care, documentation, and medication administration.
* Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and quality standards.
* Coordinate with doctors and other departments for smooth patient care.
* Mentor, guide, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
* Conduct orientation and on-the-job training for new nurses.
* Monitor inventory and ensure adequate availability of medicines, consumables, and equipment.
* Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices.
* Handle patient and attendant concerns professionally and promptly.
* Report clinical incidents, medication errors, and other adverse events as per hospital policy.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and accreditation activities.
* Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
* Prepare and submit unit reports as required
