Rajiv Gandhi Degree College is disrupting traditional education. We offer advanced, highly specialized B.Sc. programs in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Cyber Security. We are intentionally moving away from traditional, textbook-heavy lecturing. Instead, we are looking for Industry Practitioners and Tech Experts who can bring the tech lab and production floor directly into our classrooms.
Prior teaching experience is NOT required. We value your hands-on project experience, architecture skills, and production-level knowledge above all else.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project-Based Teaching: Deliver lectures and design practical workflows rooted in real-world application, case studies, and live project deployments rather than purely theory.
- Hands-on Lab Leadership: Lead intense, practical lab sessions. Teach students code hygiene, debugging, version control (Git), and deployment pipelines.
- Curriculum Engineering: Help align our laboratory assignments with modern corporate requirements, introducing students to the exact tools and frameworks used in the IT industry today.
- Hackathon & Capstone Mentorship: Act as a technical project manager for students, guiding them through hackathons, capstone projects, and technical portfolio building to make them day-one employable.
Core Technical Requirements (Expertise in at least ONE domain):
- Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Track: Direct experience building and deploying machine learning models. Deep proficiency in Python, SQL, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, or BI tools (PowerBI/Tableau). Experience with cloud data pipelines (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a massive plus.
- Cyber Security Track: Direct experience in ethical hacking, penetration testing, network security architecture, or SOC operations. Hands-on mastery of Kali Linux, Wireshark, Metasploit, SIEM tools, and firewalls. Familiarity with digital forensics or incident response processes is highly valued.
Qualifications & Professional Experience:
- Industry Experience: Minimum 2 to 5+ years of active, hands-on experience working in the IT/Corporate sector as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, ML Engineer, Security Analyst, or Technical Trainer.
- Education: B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Cyber Security, or related disciplines. (Strong industry portfolio/certifications will be heavily weighted).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to break down complex architectural patterns, algorithms, or security concepts into clear, actionable steps for undergraduate students.
