About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst Intern to support our business and technology teams. The intern will work with stakeholders, developers, designers, and project managers to understand business requirements, document processes, analyze data, and support the delivery of effective business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business and client requirements.
- Participate in client and stakeholder meetings.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, SRS documents, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Document As-Is and To-Be business processes.
- Create process flows, workflow diagrams, and requirement documents.
- Conduct market, competitor, and business research.
- Analyze business data and prepare reports and dashboards.
- Work with development, QA, UI/UX, and project management teams.
- Track project requirements, action items, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and requirement validation.
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
- Prepare presentations and client-facing documentation.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure requirements remain up to date.
Required Skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of business processes and requirements gathering.
- Ability to create clear documentation.
- Basic knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail.
Good to Have
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Power BI / Tableau.
- Jira / Confluence.
- Process-flow tools such as Draw.io, Lucidchart, or Visio.
- Knowledge of BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, and use cases.
- Basic understanding of software/web development.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree or final-year student in Business Administration, B.Com, BBA, BCA, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA/MBA Business Analytics candidates can also apply.
- Freshers and recent graduates are welcome.
- Strong communication and willingness to learn are important.
