Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our tea business operations. The candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets related to sales, procurement, production, and distribution to generate actionable insights that improve efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales, distribution, and inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking.
- Work closely with sales, procurement, and production teams to understand data requirements and provide insights.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight deviations with actionable recommendations.
- Perform data validation, cleaning, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Forecast demand and support inventory planning using historical data analysis.
- Identify inefficiencies in operations and suggest data-backed improvements.
- Prepare MIS reports and presentations for senior management.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst (FMCG/Tea industry experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Macros.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present insights in a simple, business-friendly manner.
- Good understanding of supply chain, sales analytics, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in Tea/FMCG industry or similar fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and large datasets.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics and forecasting models.
