Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Linux Server Engineer who will be responsible for managing,
maintaining, and securing our server infrastructure. The candidate should have hands-on
experience in Linux environments, hosting, and server administration.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (primarily Ubuntu)
* Manage web hosting environments, domain configurations, and DNS settings
* Handle Apache server setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
* Work on mail server setup & management (SMTP, POP3, IMAP)
* Perform domain mapping and hosting configurations
* Implement and manage SSL certificates
* Configure and monitor firewalls and server security
* Manage hosting panels such as cPanel / Admin Panel (A Panel)
* Monitor server performance, uptime, and backups
* Troubleshoot server issues and ensure minimal downtime
* Coordinate with development and IT teams for deployments
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix (Ubuntu preferred)
* Hands-on experience with web servers (Apache/Nginx)
* Knowledge of hosting, DNS, and domain management
* Experience in mail server configuration
* Familiarity with cPanel / Web hosting panels
* Understanding of firewall configuration & server security
* Experience in SSL installation & renewal
* Basic knowledge of networking concepts
* Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of scripting (Shell/Python)
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/DigitalOcean)
* Familiarity with database servers (MySQL)
