Recruitment Team Lead – Technology Hiring

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Team Lead to lead our technology hiring team in Madurai. This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who has built a strong career in a recruitment consultancy and can independently drive end-to-end hiring while mentoring junior recruiters.
The ideal candidate should be an expert in technology recruitment, sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and team coaching. This role is not limited to coordination or team management—you will be expected to lead by example and build a high-performing recruitment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the recruitment team.
- Hire, onboard, train, and mentor junior recruiters.
- Coach recruiters on sourcing techniques, screening, candidate assessment, and client communication.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment for technology positions across Product Companies, GCCs, Startups, and Engineering organizations.
- Build strong talent pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Instahyre, Boolean Search, X-Ray Search, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
- Conduct quality checks before candidate submissions to ensure high standards.
- Improve recruiter productivity, submission quality, interview ratios, and offer conversion.
- Monitor team KPIs and ensure delivery targets are consistently achieved.
- Work closely with Delivery Managers and clients to understand hiring priorities.
- Resolve delivery challenges and ensure an excellent candidate experience.
- Continuously introduce best practices to improve recruitment efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8+ years of experience in IT Recruitment.
- Must have worked in a Recruitment Consultancy / Executive Search Firm.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a recruitment team.
- Strong expertise in sourcing technology talent across multiple skill sets.
- Excellent Boolean Search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Instahyre, and X-Ray Search skills.
- Strong understanding of candidate screening, technical assessment, and interview management.
- Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, accountable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
