Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all human resource functions of the organization. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, policy implementation, training and development, employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws. The HR Manager plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture while supporting the organization's strategic objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Prepare job descriptions and advertise vacancies.
- Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads.
- Issue offer letters, appointment letters, and employment contracts.
- Oversee onboarding and induction of new employees.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Manage employee confirmations, promotions, transfers, and separations.
- Conduct exit interviews and complete full-and-final settlement processes.
- Ensure proper knowledge transfer during employee exits.
HR Operations
- Maintain attendance and leave management systems.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs.
- Monitor employee attendance, overtime, and leave records.
- Maintain HRIS and employee databases.
Performance Management
- Coordinate probation and performance reviews.
- Support managers in goal setting and performance evaluations.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and appraisal processes.
- Recommend promotions, increments, and development plans.
Policy & Compliance
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers and employee records.
- Handle disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.
Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Promote employee engagement and a positive work environment.
- Organize employee welfare initiatives and engagement activities.
- Facilitate communication between management and employees.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist in salary benchmarking and compensation planning.
- Administer employee benefits and statutory contributions.
- Coordinate annual salary revisions and incentive programs.
HR Reporting
- Prepare HR dashboards and monthly reports.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and employee turnover.
- Maintain HR analytics for management review.
Legal & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation.
- Support audits related to HR and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with legal advisors on employment matters when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
- Professional HR certifications are an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience handling end-to-end HR operations.
- Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
