Job Purpose
The Interior Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day interior fit-out activities, ensuring that residential or commercial spaces are executed exactly according to design layouts, material specifications, and quality standards. This role bridges the gap between the design team, external contractors, and project management to ensure seamless execution on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Execution & Supervision: Supervise all on-site interior activities including civil modifications, false ceilings, flooring (marble, tiling, wooden), carpentry, electrical layout, plumbing, painting, and high-end finishes.
Drawing Interpretation: Thoroughly read and interpret 2D architectural drawings, MEP plans, furniture layouts, and detailed joinery drawings to guide site execution accurately.
Vendor & Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage specialized vendors, labor contractors, carpenters, and MEP technicians to maintain steady workflow and productivity.
Quality Control (QC): Ensure a flawless finish. Check alignment, dimensions, leveling, and material quality systematically to minimize rework.
Material Management: Track material procurement, inspect delivered items for defects or deviations from approved samples, and manage inventory safely on-site to reduce wastage.
Timeline Adherence: Maintain daily/weekly progress logs against the project schedule and proactively report potential delays to the Project Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction Management.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of interior materials, hardware, finishes, and installation methodologies.
Strong grip on measurement units, bill of quantities (BOQ) verification, and billing tracking.
Software Awareness : Basic familiarity with AutoCAD (to read/verify drawings) and MS Office (Excel/Word for daily progress reports).
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle on-site technical mismatches.
Strong verbal communication to effectively manage site labor and present updates to upper management.
High attention to detail regarding aesthetic finishing and alignment.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
