Job Role of a Project Manager in an Interior Design Company
A Project Manager in an interior company is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing interior projects from start to completion while ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are maintained.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution
- Plan and manage interior fit-out projects from inception to handover.
- Develop project schedules, timelines, and work plans.
- Ensure projects are completed within the agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
- Client Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Understand client requirements and provide regular project updates.
- Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Site Management
- Supervise daily site activities and monitor work progress.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Team Coordination
- Coordinate with designers, architects, contractors, vendors, and site supervisors.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
- Ensure smooth communication among all stakeholders.
- Budget and Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project budgets.
- Track project expenses and control costs.
- Approve material procurement and vendor payments as per company policies.
- Procurement and Vendor Management
- Coordinate procurement of materials and services.
- Identify and manage vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to the project site.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
- Monitor workmanship and material quality.
- Implement corrective actions when required.
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and enforce safety protocols at project sites.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain project documentation, reports, drawings, and approvals.
- Prepare progress reports and submit them to management.
- Maintain records of changes, delays, and project milestones.
- Project Closure and Handover
- Conduct final inspections and snag rectification.
- Ensure successful project completion and handover to clients.
- Obtain client feedback and closure documentation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
