## Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and proactive *Safety Engineer* with a minimum of *2 years of industrial/site safety experience* to be deployed at our customer's facility in *Narasapura, Karnataka*. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring site safety practices, ensuring compliance with statutory and customer EHS requirements, maintaining safety documentation, and coordinating with the customer and internal project team.
## Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with EHS policies, statutory regulations, and customer safety requirements.
* Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
* Monitor work permits such as Hot Work, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, Electrical Isolation (LOTO), and Lifting Operations.
* Conduct safety induction programs, toolbox talks, and safety awareness sessions.
* Ensure proper usage of PPE and enforce safe work practices at the site.
* Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Maintain all safety records, permits, inspection reports, incident reports, and statutory documentation.
* Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
* Coordinate with the customer's EHS team during audits, inspections, and safety meetings.
* Maintain attendance, manpower records, safety training records, and project documentation.
* Submit daily reports on safety, manpower deployment, work progress, and documentation to the *Customer Representative, Project Manager, and HR Department*.
* Ensure all safety documentation is updated and readily available for customer audits.
* Support emergency response activities, mock drills, and first-aid coordination.
## Eligibility
* Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Engineering with a Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum *2 years of relevant industrial/site safety experience*.
* Sound knowledge of industrial safety practices, statutory compliance, and work permit systems.
* Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* English communication is mandatory; Kannada is an added advantage.
## Preferred Certifications
* Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS) / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety
* NEBOSH / IOSH (Preferred)
* First Aid and Fire Safety Certification (Preferred)
