Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Develop original SAT/ACT practice questions, reading passages, grammar exercises, and math problems aligned with the latest exam formats.
- Write detailed, step-by-step answer explanations that help students understand concepts and avoid common mistakes.
- Ensure all materials follow the latest Digital SAT (DSAT) and ACT test specifications.
- Create lesson plans, study guides, worksheets, and test-taking strategy resources for students at different score levels.
- Review and update content regularly to maintain quality and alignment with current exam patterns.
Online Tutoring
- Conduct engaging one-on-one or small-group online tutoring sessions.
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses through diagnostic tests and performance analysis.
- Develop personalized study plans based on each student's learning needs and target scores.
- Teach effective problem-solving techniques, pacing strategies, and test-taking skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents (where applicable).
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of SAT and/or ACT content and exam strategies.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in SAT/ACT tutoring, teaching, or educational content development.
- Familiarity with the Digital SAT (DSAT), including tools such as Desmos.
- Excellent English communication and writing skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Comfortable using online teaching platforms, digital whiteboards, and video conferencing tools.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or a related field.
- Experience designing curriculum or assessment materials.
- Previous experience working with international students is an advantage.
