Assistant Manager/ Manager
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, including workforce planning, job posting, sourcing, interviewing and hiring while meeting business targets in collaboration with department heads
- Drive recruitment strategy and process improvements, including optimizing hiring workflows, tracking recruitment metrics, and enhancing overall hiring effectiveness
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits, and final settlements
- Ensure accurate HR operations, including HRIS management, payroll inputs, benefits administration, and leave & attendance tracking in coordination with Finance
- Support and manage performance management processes including appraisals, promotions, increments, and employee development planning
- Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, providing guidance on performance, engagement, and employee-related matters
- Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives, regular HR connects, skip-level meetings, and effective grievance handling
- Drive HR policy development and process excellence by reviewing, updating, and implementing policies, SOPs, and best practices, while supporting audits and compliance
- Manage HR analytics and reporting, including tracking headcount, attrition, performance metrics, and recruitment KPIs to support decision-making
- Lead and supervise the HR team, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across HR and recruitment processes
- Strong understanding of core HR functions including employee lifecycle management, HR operations, performance management, and employee relations
- Sound knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, gratuity, leave management, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to handle employee interactions and senior-level discussions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR data, track metrics, and support decision-making
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office tools, especially Excel for HR reporting and dashboards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment
- 5–8 years of experience in generalist HR roles within corporate or fast-paced environments; prior exposure to research or consulting organizations will be considered an added advantage
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent specialization (mandatory/preferred).
- Hands-on experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation
- Prior exposure to managing HR processes independently and supporting business stakeholders
- Experience in handling audits, compliance requirements, and internal HR reporting will be an added advantage
