Job SummaryThe Primary Teacher (PRT) is responsible for educating young learners in Grades 1 to 5. The role focuses on building core competencies in foundational literacy, numeracy, and life skills using experiential, play-based learning techniques in line with the CBSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Foundational Learning: Deliver age-appropriate, child-centric lessons focusing on language, mathematics, and environmental studies.
- Lesson Planning: Create innovative lesson plans integrating art, storytelling, and technology.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a warm, safe, inclusive, and visually stimulating classroom environment.
- Holistic Assessment: Conduct continuous and comprehensive evaluations to track cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Parent-Teacher Relations: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding children's milestone developments.
- Remedial Support: Identify slow learners or students with learning gaps and provide tailored remedial support.
- Qualifications & Eligibility (CBSE Norms)
- Academic Degree: Senior Secondary (Class 12th) with at least 50% marks, or a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Professional Degree: 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Mandatory Exam: Qualified CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) Paper-1 or State TET.
Pay: ₹20,227.04 - ₹39,283.75 per month
