About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Calibration Engineer to ensure electro-technical instruments and testing devices are accurately calibrated in compliance with NABL standards. This role directly impacts product quality, operational safety, and customer satisfaction — making precision and accountability essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of all electro-technical instruments across multiple parameters
- Generate calibration certificates in accordance with NABL guidelines
- Maintain NABL documentation including replicate records, ITC works, PT works, intermediate check records, and environment logs
- Perform estimation of measurement uncertainty calculations
- Conduct internal and external audit activities
- Send calibration due reminders and follow-up communications to customers
- Organise and maintain service and calibration schedules
- Record all calibrations performed on equipment
- Troubleshoot instrument issues and ensure timely resolution
- Comply with customer requirements and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics (mandatory); B.Sc / M.Sc or ITI background also considered
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on calibration experience (required)
- Prior NABL calibration work is mandatory
- Proficient in English (required)
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work well with others
Nice to Have
- Experience with uncertainty calculations
- Familiarity with NABL audit processes
- IT or instrumentation background
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
