Job Summary:
We are looking for an Employability Skills Instructor to train ITI students in communication, professional behaviour, workplace skills, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and career-readiness skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Employability Skills classes for ITI students.
- Train students in communication skills, spoken English, and interpersonal skills.
- Develop students’ confidence, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Provide training on interview skills, resume writing, group discussions, and workplace etiquette.
- Teach basic computer and digital literacy skills.
- Provide awareness about career opportunities, apprenticeships, and employment.
- Introduce students to entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and workplace responsibilities.
- Conduct activities, presentations, role plays, mock interviews, and group discussions.
- Assess students’ performance and maintain training records.
- Coordinate with technical instructors for overall student development.
- Motivate students to improve their employability and professional skills.
Eligibility / Qualification:
- Graduate degree in English / Communication / Management / Social Science / Education or relevant field.
- Relevant certification/training in Employability Skills, vocational education, or skill development will be preferred.
- Experience in ITI, vocational training, employability training, or career counselling will be an advantage.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English and preferably Hindi/Odia.
- Strong interpersonal and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to conduct interactive and activity-based training.
- Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
- Student-friendly and motivating approach.
